J.W. Memorial Bridge is the main connection between West Seattle and the rest of the city. Fortunately it is still useable and has not yet been destroyed by the angels. Gangs sometimes like to hang around and collect fees for crossing the bridge. Maybe you'd prefer to swim to the other side.
